Thanks Jonathan, now I am really depressed. Save us oh mighty profit, er prophet. Save us with your stimulus package! Save us from the same people who we needed to be saved from before who are back again making more bubbles.
fine example of how a poll's questions fetter the responder and force the responder to consider a possibly artificial reality.
as in, PLEASE CHOOSE BETWEEN A and B:
A) THE GOOD ANSWER IS TO STIMULATE THE ECONOMY
and
B) THE BAD ANSWER IS TO WORRY ABOUT THE DEFICIT
alternatively
A) NBE A GOOD DEMOCRAT AND VOTE TO STIMULATE THE ECONOMY, EVEN IF IT WILL FURTHER IMPOVERISH YOU AND YOUR GOVERNMENT
or
B) ONLY A RETHUG IS CONCERNED ABOUT THE DEFICIT AND YOU KNOW THE RETHUGS ARE REPUGNICANS
And people pretend the news media are not part of the propaganda machine in Fascist America.
