Not a nice story. Avedon makes a good point. Another thing that goes without note is people without insurance pay more for the same medical procedure than does someone who has insurance even if it is not covered. They will tell us there is no money for a single payer plan but then there is the 20 million dollars Obama is sending to NGOs that support the Iranians who are protesting or were or what ever. I guess Obama will use it as a talking point if he ever sits down with his Iranian counterparts.
