Final thoughts

What seems clear to me regarding Terry Jones the sad-sack propelled to his 15 minutes of fame over his plan to burn the quran on this coming September 11 is that the so-called main stream news media is probably working for the Pentagon, or perhaps general Petraeus, when they gave instant fame to this would-be gold digger. One need only recall Guantanamo and the insulting abusive treatment, aside from the physical and mental torture, of the prisoners therein or to perhaps consider the marines who blew up Afghans for fun taking body parts such as fingers, legs, even skulls as trophies of their kill. This is no freakish unusual thing, this is how soldiers act in war, this is how they are trained and manipulated to act, and this is the desired effect.

The U.S. has been involved in a program to defame, dehumanize, inflame, insult, and murder Muslims for many years now, even prior to the Bush family. Bill Clinton was no slouch when it came to bombing Iraq. Likely part of the idea of inflaming the Muslim world is that it gives us cause and reason to continue with these Terror Wars. Consider we never had good cause to invade any of these nations to begin with and even less cause to continue our occupations. That Iraq had anything to do with 9/11 is pure fantasy. That we should invade Afghanistan because some Arabs calling themselves al Qaida stayed there for a while is ridiculous by any standard. Regarding Pakistan, we have no right to be murdering their people either even if bin Laden is there sucking eggs and smoking Cubans.

When you consider all of the above I can only conclude that the news media, working for the government, is deliberately inflaming the Muslims of the world and indeed it is working quite well. There are now protests in various places and one protestor was killed by a NATO soldier. This is the plan, causing chaos gives us cause to continue the Terror Wars.

Excellent post, Rob. It's so true I'll bet a dozen people will read it if they don't have something more pressing to do, such as watching the latest "Bowling With The Stars."
Seems quite a coincidence, doesn't it, that all this mosque and burning of the Koran hoopla is happening so close to the anniversary? You know, THE anniversary of THE event which renders World War II trivial...

Hi Mimi,

"Bowling with the stars" I like that and you are probably all too correct. Of course if they do read it they won't believe it anyway but what the heck, someone has to say something.

Exactly, and of course the world revolves around Americans because Americans are the center of their own universe. The war is flagging, people are losing their enthusiasm or some are, elections coming up, people are living in the streets and under bridges, yup, a good time to whip up that old time hate, give the rubes something to hate and war is the perfect tool, that’s the game as well.

I'm sorry. My previous comment was intended for "Darkness and light."
